Hi, I am Carolanne, a OneSpirit Interfaith Minister – so what does that mean for you?

 

 I write and conduct ceremonies for those of any religion or those of none and I can include any elements of religion or spirituality. My focus is on you as an individual and what your personal choice is.

My belief is that each of us are worth celebrating and each of us should celebrate our uniqueness, I encourage authenticity being true to who you really are and for that to shine throughout your ceremony.

​

I love all ceremonies and celebrations, and consider myself to be a little quirky, respectful, joyful and nurturing and balance this with sensitivity.

It is my absolute joy to be in a position to do what I do as a Minister and as a compassionate human.

I am a good listener and put great emphasis on seeing and hearing you, mixed in with the right amount of support and guidance with an aim to create a unique ceremony written with and for you.

​

We each have wonderful stories to share, stories inside that embrace who we are, sharing your story in your ceremony, in your way will allow your stories to become beautiful memories.

​

Initially my goal is to establish what kind of ceremony you want – I am flexible and adaptable - I can do formal, traditional, fun and quirky, themed, wild and wacky, relaxed and calm - the reality is it's not about me, so whatever you want is exactly what you'll get.

I strive to take care of all the details relating to your settlement so that you don't have to worry on the day and can concentrate on enjoying the day and creating memories.

I encourage us to meet initially either by telephone or through zoom or another platform, so that you can check me out, see how well our conversation flows and from there if you decide to book we will start creating your ceremony. I will walk and talk you through every aspect so that you can relax into your ceremony.

​

I will use our conversations to gather information as well as sending questionnaires, together we will work out the pace of your ceremony and the impact that you want. With me there is no such thing as an average ceremony, there is no way it should be, you can have music and readings and various elements if you choose to, and equally you needn’t have any.

​

Your ceremony is my passion each individual ceremony that I offer is offered with a full commitment to you for your special day.

Some of the symbolic elements I offer are handfasting, broom jumping, cake and ale, ring warming, unity candle and I have been known to create a bespoke symbolic element solely for the individual or couple.

​

Another joy is that with me, you can have your ceremony absolutely anywhere and at absolutely anytime - I am not restricted.

Literally whatever you want we can make happen

I offer many different types of ceremony including wedding and or commitment ceremonies for same sex couples, Heterosexual, and non-binary - love is love and I welcome that celebration.

I also do vow renewal's, relationship affirmations, baby blessings, naming ceremonies, adoption ceremony's, coming of age and all other rites of passage and transitions including graduation and school/educational transitions.

 

I particularly enjoy outdoor ceremonies - Please ask about my outdoor package that includes a wild venue – intimate space – maximum 20 guests – quirky catering and a tailored ceremony – are you sacredly wild enough to embrace it?
